SUMMER PICNIC
The summer party will be at Cordorus State Park, Hanover, PA on Saturday June 18th - raindate July 9th. PLEASE let me know ASAP if you are coming and how many in your party.
The picnic will start at 11 am. and end ? But I'll be there early to reserve tables. Click on the map to enlarge it and you can print it out. I'll be glad to mail a copy if needed. The club will provide cold cuts, rolls condiments and drinks. Members have volunteered to bring chips, salads, plates, cups, napkins, utensils, ice. We still need desserts, veggies and dips, salads and anything else you want to contribute. There will be no electricity so make sure you have a way to keep things cold. Also bring a chair or blanket and something to carve.
If you haven't been to Cordorus it's a beautiful place and one of the top 10 state parks in the USA. Plenty to do bird watch, walk, disc golf, rent a boat, fish if you have a PA license. Hope to see you there.

CARVING PROJECT
Here's a picture of the plaque we carved and presented to the Carroll County 4-H in 1997. Phil Adams is the man on the right doing the unveiling. I should also point out that Harold German a professional sign maker did a lot of the signage and assembled the plaque. Each member did a square. The plaque now hangs in the Agricultural Bldg.
